Ride with us
If you are a veteran aged 55 or older and you ride an American-made cruiser, touring bike or three-wheeler, we would like to meet you. Our saying is: easy to get out, hard to get in. Membership is earned over time, the same way trust was earned in uniform.

How we ride
Riding together safely is part of looking after each other. Here is what to expect on a club ride.
- Ride briefingEvery ride starts with a briefing on the route, stops and hand signals. Arrive with a full tank.
- Road captainOn the road, the road captain has final say. They lead, set the pace and call the signals to get everyone where they need to go safely. A tail gunner rides at the back.
- Staggered formationWe ride two abreast in a staggered line, keep our position and don’t pass within the group.
- Hang-arounds & prospectsHang-arounds and prospects ride near the back of the group, just ahead of the tail gunner.
Questions we get asked
Who can join?
Veterans aged 55 or older who served in the Canadian Armed Forces (Regular Force, Primary Reserve or Cadet Instructors Cadre) or with an allied military, and who ride an American-made cruiser, touring bike or three-wheeler.
Does Reserve service count?
Yes. We welcome veterans of the Regular Force, the Primary Reserve, and the Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC).
Do I need to have deployed or served a certain length of time?
No. We use the same definition of a veteran as Veterans Affairs Canada: anyone who completed basic training and was honourably released. Deployments and length of service don’t matter. For allied veterans, we look for the equivalent: completed basic training and honourable service.
What bikes are accepted?
Traditionally our members ride Harley-Davidsons. We generally look for American-made cruisers, touring bikes and three-wheelers, such as Harley-Davidson or Indian. Sport bikes aren’t a fit for the club.
Are you a new club?
No. Warrior Veteran MMC has been riding since 2018, with all the proper conversations completed.
Is this a 1% club?
No. We are a 99% family club. We are independent and intend to stay that way.
How does membership work?
Our saying is: easy to get out, hard to get in. You start as a hang-around, for as long as you like. If you’re a good fit, the club will ask whether you’d like to prospect, and then votes on accepting you. Prospecting usually lasts at least a year, though we look at each case individually. When your prospect period is complete, the club votes on your full patch.
I’m a veteran and I served. Why do I have to prospect?
Your service earned our respect, and it is why you can join us. Prospecting is about something different. In uniform, trust was built over time, by working alongside the people beside you. Brotherhood in the club is built the same way. Prospecting gives the club time to get to know you, and gives you time to decide whether this club is right for you. Done right, prospecting should also be fun.
Can family take part?
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. We’re a family club, and spouses and families are welcome at our Open events, such as the BBQ.
Are there dues?
Yes. Members pay annual dues by March 31 each year. Dues pay for club functions and support the Invisible Warrior Project.
I’m not a veteran. Can I support the club?
Yes. Come to our Open events, support the Rolling Barrage and the Field of Crosses with us, or pick up supporter gear from our Kit Shop.
